Re: 3sge beams conversion question, factory ecu. u just need afew relays and afew power wires and your done. dont worry bout yr dash till u get it running. u prob wont need speed signal to ecu. if its goign into older car u might need tacho booster. fit temp sender to motor to match temp gauge. and same with oil and your done. wire up alternator.

I have a 3SGE BEAMS from an Altezza fitted to a RA65 Celica. The engine came from a front cut and has a Greddy AFM and POD fitted to it. When run on the dyno, the engine is running very lean and not making near the power it should. I would get it out of a manual altezza as it is different to the automatic altezza. You do get them in mr2s, celicas and calidans but I think the altezza one would be easier to work with.
